Wonder(er)
Have you noticed?
The sun is alien –
And you’re my sunblock,
Winged One.

Since we are dwelling in a castle of dreams,
there are enough doors
for us
to open
or
keep closed –
enough for us…
not to fail.
No blossom stays away
on Thursday or Sunday or Tuesday or Saturday or Monday or Friday or Wednesday!
Tickets, anyone?

Sehnsucht
My baby just cares for
liveliness!
During my underwater adventures,
I used to…
Now, I fantasize about finding
the right somber adipose cells
of unicorns,
the sorcerous binding –
I’m yearning for my narwhals!
Warm, fat, liquid,
at home,
at peace.
But I’ve recently taken the Promised Land
(situated on the iconic seafront)
On a lifetime lease.
Jolly good!

Remarkable irony
(In)significance: the void whispers – pay attention;
It resembles
a Life.

Regeneration
come sit by thine fire –
Terrible Eden
hatches now and then
and Grace unstrings the lyre.
The Sublime
never existed
before your stubborn Kind,
and transient thoughts
seemed thrilling –
but all it takes is Softness
(in my chest)
and all the world
stays willing.
Marvel-heart, leeway-heart,
Come sit by
Our Fire.

Adoration of the Holy Lost and Found
Partaker: Let’s adorn the darkness, shall we?

Séance
get flesh, eat flesh –
years later, years ago
we furnished this house with hundreds of fireflies,
we stained our darkest corners
with ember hearts that glow.
Nevermore shall I deplore
the terror,
the mist when we divided afterlife –
it’s proper, darling
to abandon error
as soon as you decide to cease thy strife.
We’re cannibals – they say,
as if it’s horrid.
<<We’re lovers>> – we respond,
as if we care,
but reveries are sound and dreamers lofty
and hearts are on the menu rather rare.
Get flesh, eat flesh
of the departed,
of those who come to life,
of those who grow –
We’re cannibals, I thought
before we started
to dine in our house
where bodies glow.
